“And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.”  1 Corinthians 15:14 NIV

 For Christians this time of year is the central tenet of our Faith.  The Christian faith hinges on the fact that Jesus Christ miraculously returned to life after execution by crucifixion.  As Christians we believe this divine miracle secured the hope of our salvation.  For me the Resurrection is a pivotal part of history that I have never questioned or researched anywhere other than in God’s Word.  This past week I “googled” the Resurrection and was shocked at how much time and effort skeptics have put into debunking this event in history.  Most of the articles and websites attribute the life and death of our Savior to legendary accounts that are not accurate.  I understand that back in the day they didn’t have such things as coroners, reporters, cameras, newspapers, or forensic science.  Through all my reading the one thing that stuck out the most was how much emphasis was put on the ridiculousness of Christians and blind faith.

For me personally my faith in Jesus and my belief in the Resurrection is anything but “blind” and I pray that stands true with you as well.  I hope each of you will actively take part this month in a celebration of the FACT our Savior has conquered death and is alive.  In history this is the only account of death losing and love winning! I am proud to say I wear the badge of Christian and have faith because He is Alive!!
